Our privacy has become public and our vision of privacy and public life are getting blurred more than ever before. We are exposing ourselves to a world audience and to people who aren't our friends at all. But hey, let us start telling the story of two teenage girls from the beginning.

Once there was a time, when Sonja & Silke met on Skype almost every day. They were always asking themselfs, what the Skype-Me mode was all about and so they changed their status over to this mode to investigate this myth. Instantly Sonja & Silke had been contacted by complete strangers, who had neither seen any pictures of them, nor had they ever heard their voices. All those strangers had got, was a girl's name, displayed on a screen. Sonja & Silke. Suddenly, the page flipped and both ficticious girls had become real, because someone, somewhere wanted to believe they really did exist. Skype Me! was produced in coopertion with Kim Asendorf.
